Why choose MySimpleBackup for your photos

Changing phones? Your MySimpleBackup licence belongs to your Mac, not your phone, so a new iPhone or iPad just plugs in and backs up.

How it works

  1. Connect your iPhone or iPad with a cable and open MySimpleBackup. Your Camera Roll and albums appear in the sidebar, with thumbnails.
  2. Keep everything ticked, or choose the albums (or individual photos) you want.
  3. Pick a backup folder and click Backup Selected.

Works with iPhone and iPad on iOS / iPadOS 18 and 26, on Macs with Apple silicon running macOS 14 or later.

When iMazing might suit you better

If you need professional tools, such as managing device backups, apps, messages and more across several devices, iMazing is built for that. For a simple, organised backup of your photos, MySimpleBackup is the easier and more affordable option.

iMazing is a trademark of its owner. MySimpleBackup is made by Blank Atlas Limited and isn’t affiliated with iMazing. Details about iMazing were checked in September 2026 from the sources linked above and may have changed since; check before you buy.
